Dr. Kar is an Associate Professor in Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, in the
area of Information Systems, Department of Management
Studies. He is also associated with the Bharti School of Telecom and the CoE in Cyber Systems and Information Assurance in IIT Delhi. He teaches subjects like E-Commerce, Internet
Marketing, Software Project Management, Business Analytics, IT Consulting and Management Information Systems. He is/has been the Chairman / Coordinator / Member of different
administrative portfolios like Smart Campus, Office Automation, Corporate Relations and Placements,
Faculty Recruitment, Post Doctoral Fellow recruitment, Case Center and
Policy & Vision. He has also offered advisory services
to Multinational Private Enterprises and PSU / Ministries under the
Government of India.
